This network of Waco area Celebrate Recovery meetings
is open to the public and is comprised of churches
working together to provide biblically based,
Christ-centered
Celebrate Recovery Twelve Step
meetings in our community. Using the
Eight Recovery
Principles based on the very words of Jesus from the
Beatitudes, we hold to the Bible as the guide on the road
to recovery.

People attend CR meetings for to work on various issues
such as abuse, adult children of alcoholics, alcoholism,
anger, chemical dependence, codependency,
depression, divorce, eating disorders, fear, financial
recovery, food addiction, love and relationship addiction,
pride and sexual addiction. We are solution based, and
find power to overcome our individual issues through a
personal relationship with
and dependence upon Christ.

We are looking for
those whose vision for their own
church is one which includes a safe place to recover from
life's hurts, hang-ups and habits.

If your
church is interested in finding out more about
joining this effort to provide Christ-centered
Celebrate
R
ecovery meetings every night of the week for the Waco
community,

Beyond Forgiveness Into Freedom!

Celebrating Recovery in Waco
Purpose Statement:

The purpose of Saddleback
Church's Celebrate Recovery
ministry is to fellowship and
celebrate God's healing power
in our lives through the "8
Recovery Principles." This
experience allows us to "be
changed." By working and
applying these Biblical
principles, we begin to grow
spiritually. We become free
from our addictive,
compulsive and dysfunctional
behaviors. This freedom
creates peace, serenity, joy
and most importantly, a
stronger personal relationship
with God and others. As we
progress through the program
we discover our personal,
loving and forgiving Higher
Power - Jesus Christ, the one
and only true Higher Power.

Pastor John Baker,
Founder

Highland Baptist Church's
Celebrate Recovery Ministry
holds to this same purpose
statement. Join us as you
travel the road to recovery.
You do not have to travel
alone.
